About Me

I graduated from IOE Purwanchal Campus in 2023 with a degree in Electronics, Communication and Information Engineering. These days I work as an IT Officer at the same institution — managing network infrastructure, servers, and supporting faculty and students with technical needs day to day.

Outside of the IT work, my real interests are in robotics and embedded systems. I've spent a lot of time with ROS, computer vision, and control systems — two of my final year projects ended up getting published at IEEE conferences, which was a great experience.

I also serve as CEO of Broad Tech Infosys Pvt. Ltd., where I lead the company's technology direction and business development efforts.

Responsible for all aspects of IT at IOE Purwanchal Campus — from day-to-day helpdesk to long-term infrastructure and software development. Leading the EMIS (Education Management Information System) programme to digitise the entire campus operation across 15+ systems.

An autonomous robot that balances on two wheels using a PID control loop fed by an IMU sensor. Modeled the system dynamics in MATLAB, validated with physical hardware, and published the results at IEEE ICICT 2023.

As IT Officer at IOE Purwanchal Campus (Tribhuvan University), I have designed and developed a comprehensive Education Management Information System to digitise every major administrative and academic workflow. Below are the 15 systems built and deployed in-house.

Online Admission Portal
Prospective students fill the admission form, upload documents, and pay the application fee entirely online. Verified applications feed directly into the admissions queue — no redundant data entry, no campus visit required for submission.

Voucher / Token Submission & Auto-Validation
Students upload their bank voucher or token number through their account. The backend validates the payment against bank records automatically and posts the confirmed token to the finance system — eliminating fee-submission queues and providing a clean audit trail.

Hostel Allocation System (Dynamic Rank-Based)
Students fill a single application form and the system ranks each applicant dynamically using the campus criteria — academic merit, distance from home, gender quota, and special categories. Seats are allocated from the ranked list transparently, removing manual preparation and disputes.

Automatic Clearance Form Generation
On a clearance request, the system queries every relevant section — library, hostel, store, finance, and departments — and assembles the form with each section's live status. Pending dues are flagged; signing officers only verify and approve.

Certificate Generation & Graduate Tracking
On-request generation of campus certificates (character, transcript, provisional, migration) directly from the student records. Graduated students are tracked longitudinally — employment, further studies, contact — building an alumni database for outcome reporting and accreditation.

Exam Management with Auto Seat-Planning
Takes subject / room / candidate list as input and automatically generates the full seat plan and invigilator assignments, factoring in room capacity, attendance, and faculty availability. Produces all official letters — invigilation duties, room allotments, candidate lists, seating charts — ready for signature. Reduced exam planning from days to minutes.

Routine Management & Teaching-Tracking Portal
Campus Chief, Vice Chief, and section heads log in and flag each scheduled class as Taught or Not Taught. Teachers record attendance on the same day — no back-dated entries permitted. Supports one-click download of master, department-wise, individual teacher, and personal routines.

Marksheet Aggregation & Performance Audit System
Ingests all student marksheets and segregates them by batch, faculty, programme, semester, and subject. Generates audit reports — subject-wise pass/fail rates, mark distributions, top and bottom performers, and cross-batch trend lines — used for academic review and accreditation evidence.

Provisioned Canva for Education (Educator) access campus-wide, enabling all students and staff to use Canva PRO features — design tools for coursework, presentations, reports, and departmental material — at no individual cost.

Campus-wide network placing every academic block, lab, and administrative section on a unified managed network with consistent IP planning, VLAN segmentation, and central monitoring. Forms the backbone for all other EMIS systems.

Centralised Server Management
A unified administration layer for all campus servers — virtualisation hosts, application servers, database servers, storage and backup nodes — with a single pane for monitoring, patching, backup verification, and access control. The EMIS Cell registers domains, provisions virtual servers, deploys web applications, and hosts student and departmental sites.

GPU Resource Allocation System (Time-Shared)
Scheduling and remote-access platform letting students and researchers reserve GPU time on campus compute servers on a time-sharing basis. Includes queuing, usage logs, and quota controls — supporting AI/ML coursework, final-year projects, and faculty research.

Library Migration — Luniva to KOHA
Full migration of the campus library from the legacy Luniva system to KOHA (open-source ILS), including OPAC customisation — branding, search, faceting — circulation rules, patron categories, item types, and MARC frameworks. Students and faculty get a modern, searchable, mobile-friendly catalogue with reservation and self-service. Maintained in-house with regular updates, database backups, and performance tuning.

Private DSpace Repository (E-Library)
A private DSpace digital repository for e-library resources, theses, project reports, faculty publications, and lecture material. Access is role-controlled — internal-only content stays within the campus network; open content is publicly accessible.

Full lifecycle management of every store item — purchase order generation, goods-received entry, stock keeping, issue/store-out transactions, and disposal.
